Intro
Part of a group of southern Chinese horses, the Louping Horse is very closely related genetically to the Guizhou.
Origins
Originating from the Xian of Luoping in Yunnan Province, this breed is shrouded in mystery. Likely a strain of the southern type bred specifically for conditions in their specific province.
While genetically they are most similar to the Guizhou, the southern group includes Debao and Wenshan as well.
