Intro
The Pindos or Thessalonian Pony is a mountainous Pony breed that comes from mountainous regions of Thessaly & Epirus in Greece.
Origins
As with most of the Greek breeds, the Pindos is hardy, surefooted and able to live on meager rations. This is an ancient breed whose origins are still a mystery, however they possess some clear Asian lineage.
