The Jianchang Horse can be found in Yi Antonymous Prefecture of Liangshan, Hanyuan County, Ya’an Prefecture, Yanbian County, Dukou Prefecture, Sichuan Province.
Origins
This is a small horse or pony type and commonly found in China. They were dometicated over 1000 years ago for transportation over steep mountain paths. Bred in mountainous regions, they are incredibly sure footed and well adapted for mountain conditions.
