Jargalant Horse

Intro

Not an official breed, the Forest Mongolian or Jargalant Horse is a strain of Mongolian Horse which is bred almost exclusively in the Jargalant district of Mongolia, for which it is named.

Origins

There are several strains of Mongolian and they all share similar characteristics. Their main differences being what they are bred for (herding, meat, racing) and local geography. The Jargalant animals are highly regarded as a fast strain and are often used to improve other strains.
