I could find very little about the Nogai Horse except that is is one of the steppe breeds found in the north of Dagestan. As with many of the breeds that live in steppe areas, they are essential to the local people as transportation, work animal as well as a source of food & milk. They were essential in the creation of the Kabardian breed.
