Intro

Europäisches Westernpferd or European Western Horse is not a breed but rather a type. Usually used for animals from the Americas, but can apply to European breeds used for western riding.

Origins

There is an association for this breed and they allow a variety of breeds to register. They have a list of general requirements, including country of origin and mild temperament.
