Trakya Horse

Intro

The Trakya Horse comes from Turkey and has been bred in the region of Trakya for at least a thousand years. They are the result of a cross between the Anadolu and native horses of Trakya, resulting in a pony similar to the Anadolu only slightly larger.

Origins

Sometimes referred to as Rumelian, which is a generic term used to for small horses in the former European territories of Turkey.

Average height 13.3 – 14.1 hands

Legs are solid and bony with coarse feathering
