Origins
The Nederlands Mini Paarden or the Dutch Mini Horse comes from the Netherlands and is a relatively new little breed. Their studbook was formed in 1993 & there are two different sizes, mini & oversized.

Mini is 0 – 9 hands
Oversized is 9.1 hands – 11 hands
Physique
Head is fine & well proportioned
Neck is proportionate & muscular
Back is strong and muscular
Shoulders are slanted
Legs are firm & dry
Hooves are well proportioned with good heels
