Intro
Like German Duns, the Deutscher Tigerschecke or German Tiger Spotted is a color breed and registered based on sound conformation and leopard complex spotting patterns.
Origins
This type of breed is not based around bloodlines or lineage, but rather around a sound animal with at least one appaloosa parent. They register any breed or color that carries the spotting genetics as long as they meet the conformation, temperament and/or performance standards.
