Morochuco Horse

Origins

The Morochuco comes comes from the Peruvian Andes in the state of Ayacucho and the breed was thought to be developed by Jesuits. They are well known for their smooth, pacing gaits among other qualities that make them fine riding horses. These are small, shaggy animals but quite hardy & surefooted and perhaps the best representation of the Andean breeds. This breed is shaped by the climate & needs of the people & over the years they have become an integral part of daily life.

Mogod Pony

Origins

Also called the Tunisian, the Mogod Pony comes from the northernmost area of Tunisia and is thought to be a strain of the mighty Barb horse, refined and bred to suit the area over centuries. Sadly as machines began to replace animals in the 20th century their numbers began to dwindle.
