Lombok Horse

Origins

Also called the Macassar, the Lombok pony comes from the Indonesian island of Lombok. The Dutch government was involved with the island for the latter half of the 19th century so it is likely that this breed carries some Dutch influence. However it’s origins are unknown and purely speculation.

Lippitt Morgan Horse

Intro

The Lippitt Morgan breed began in 1910 when a wealthy gentleman named Fullerton Phillips traveled to Vermont with the intention of raising Morgan horses. In his search for breeding stock in the area he found were heavily crossed with trotters and didn’t reflect the majestic quality he so admired within the breed.
