Intro

This is a breed native to high altitude which gives them a high level of strength & stamina. Not to mention their ability to withstand intense weather & thrive on sparse vegetation.

Origins

The Chumbivilcas Horse is identified with the areas of Cuzco & Apurimac and similar (although more highly developed) than the Morocucho horse. Due to their extreme hardiness and athletic ability they were favored by the army.
