Bespechchny Horse

Intro

The Bespechchny or Bespechny Horse is not an official breed, but rather one of the seven strains of Ukrainian Saddle Horses. Saddle horses in the country are notable for being extremely undemanding and easy keepers.

Origins

The Ukranian Saddle horse breed was established in 1971 using Trakehner, Hanoverian, Thoroughbred and Russian Saddle stallions, crossed with with Hungarian and improved local mares.

The result is a handsome and athletic sport animal, that is generally of heavier type. This strain is the closest genetically to the extinct Orlov-Rostopchin. They are adaptable animals and able to perform in extreme climates.
