Pentro Horse

Intro

The Pentro breed comes from Italy and has been in the southern Italian wetlands for the last millennia.

Origins

While horses have been informally bred in the area for a long time, this breed was made official between the two World Wars and saw influence from a number of Italian breeds. Today the breed lives in a feral state and are dangerously close to extinction.
