Intro
Not actually a breed, the Dulbeg Horse is one of the three main strains of Bosnian Mountain Horse which was developed early in the 20th century.
Origins
One of the Balkan breeds, the Bosnian Mountain is thought to come from the wild Tarpan with hardy Mongolian influence.
The breed is an important part of the history of the area and is the most populace horse breed found in the area. This strain is a hardy little mountain horse, reminiscent of it’s ancestral breeding. The Mongolian influence is obvious.
