Barut Horse

Intro

A small horse from from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Barut is not officially a breed, but rather a type of the Bosnian Mountain Horse that was developed near Visoko.

Origins

Similar to the Bosnian, this is a rough mountain type and a hardy mountain breed. They are thought to be descendants of the Tarpan with Mongolian influence. Giving them some very old bloodlines.
