Intro
The Deutsches Pferd, Deutsches Reitpferd or German Riding Horse is not a breed, but rather a collection of German warmblood breeds. In a nation of strongly regional breeding practices, the riding horse is a joint framework for sport and riding types.
Origins
Warmblood associations breed more for type and character, the bloodlines they want to reproduce are specific to performance. Many of the breed associations share requirements and they have established common breeding goals to classify animals as Deutsches Pferd.
