Intro
A direct descendant of the Camargue Horse known for their grey coats, versatility and lovely temperament.
Origins
Not native to Italy, the Delta Horse is considered locally adapted and are considered the Italian strain of the breed. They were imported to the Po Plain during the 1970s and left to roam in a feral state. The geography was similar enough to the Camargue, they appear to have done well and retain the handsome characteristics notable within the breed.
