Intro
The Covert Hack, or Great Hack Horse is not an official breed, but rather the largest variety of Hackney Horse, often traditionally used for hunting.
Origins
Hackney horses are notable for their high stepping action and tractable nature. The different types bred for specific characteristics, from carriage horses to sound cross country hunters. The Covert Hack is the latter type, built for speed, agility and endurance. Physically they are similar to the Thoroughbred and likely share some genetics.
