Intro
Like many sport types, the Moroccan Sport Horse is bred specifically for temperament, athletic ability and correct characteristics.
Origins
As they are bred for purpose rather than for bloodlines, animals with a variety of bloodlines are accepted into the studbook. They likely have to meet specific physical and athletic standards to register. The foundations of the type include Barb, Anglo-Arabian and Thoroughbred which were then crossed with Hanoverian and Selle Francais animals.
