Also called Changbei, the Zhangbei Horse is a Mongolian type horse found in from the Hebei region of China.
Origins
This breed comes from a cross between Chinese Mongolian mares with Russian Draft and Pur-Sang stallions. The intention was to create an animal good both under saddle and for light draft.
