Intro
A small horse from from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Misko is not officially a breed, but rather a type of the Bosnian Mountain Horse that was developed as a heavier variety.
Origins
Similar to the Bosnian, this is a rough mountain type and a hardy mountain breed. They are thought to be descendants of the Tarpan with Mongolian influence. The Misko specifically was bred to be a robust pack animal, providing a more powerful mountain horse.
