Origins

The Dolny-Iskar is an Extinct breed that came from Northern Bulgaria and was a variety of the Bulgarian Native Horse. They had a rough and primitive confirmation but were incredibly vital, healthy animals.

Average height 13.3 – 14.2 hands

Physique

Head was big and rough
Neck was low-lying and horizontal
Back was long
Rump was heavily sloped
Legs were strong but lack well-defined joints
Hooves were small and strong

Use

All purpose work animal
