Intro
The Dhanni Horse comes from the Punjab state of India and was thought to be Sikh leader Ranjit Singh’s favorite breed.
Origins
Originating in the 15th century they were a very popular horse found in Southern Asia and a variety of the Punjab group of horses. There is very little to be found about this breed, but from the paintings it is clear they were extremely handsome.
