Trocha Pura Colombiana

Intro

Also called Trochador, Terchador and Trocha the Trocha Pura Colombiana is a descendant of Spanish animals brought to the country in the 16th century. They are closely related to Paso Fino animals and characterized by a unique four-beat diagonal gait called trocha.

Origins

Developed from the Paso Fino during the 1960’s, they were named Trochador to distinguish them from their foundation breed.
