Pechora Horse

Intro

Also called the Pechorskaya, the Pechora comes from the regions around the polar circle and at the basin of the Pechora River in Russia.

Origins

Due to the extreme conditions in which they live, this breed has grown incredibly hardy and become indispensable to the people who inhabit the region. Their bloodlines come originally from horses of the Urals, Siberia & Estonia imported during the 16th century.
