Intro
Not an actual breed, the Hack Horse is essentially an Anglo-Arab and there are several different strains associated with the variety.
Origins
Not to be confused with the Hackney Horse which is bred mainly for harness work, the Hack is bred to ride. Anglo-Arabian animals are a cross between Thoroughbred and Arabian bloodlines. Arabian bloodlines were a foundation for the English Thoroughbred and the two breeds cross beautifully.
