Following the tradition of European warmblood animals, the Canadians have made their own contribution to the sport horse legacy.
Origins
The Canadian Sport Horse Association was formed in 1926 with a goal of creating a superior animal for the practice of eventing, show jumping & dressage. The idea is to produce sound and solid animals with a good disposition and athletic capabilities.
