Intro
The SA Warmblood Horse is like many of the European warmblood types, they aren’t breeds based on bloodlines, but rather on type and performance.
Origins
By the 1960s A steady flow of European warmbloods were being imported into the country and the SA Warmblood registry was established in 1989. While similar to SA Sport Horses, except the warmblood registry only registers jumper, dressage and eventing types.
