Horse cultures can be found in all corners of the globe and it’s important that we preserve them. The onslaught of mechanization during the 20th century redefined our relationship with this noble animal. We want to celebrate all horse cultures of he world, even if we find some of them disagreeable.

Horse in Spanish is caballo

Colorful Criollo

The Argentinians love a boldly colored animal and the result is some of the most incredible white patterns found anywhere on the planet. While spotted horses are originally thought to originate from somewhere on the Eurasian landmass, the Argentinians bred them into something special.

Horses found on the American continents were all imported at some point and for that reason many of them carry Iberian bloodlines. The term Criollo is used for animals of Spanish descent that were born in the Americas. Most of the Central and South American countries have a strain of criollo horse.
