Liver Flaxen Horses

A look at liver flaxen horses around the world and on a variety of different breeds.

The flaxen modifier works specifically on the mane and tail hairs of a chestnut base, bleaching them to a pale or white color. On a liver chestnut it can be quite dramatic and they have similar coloring to a silver dapple or a chocolate palomino.
