Perhaps the most common shade of chestnut, ranging from a golden red to a deeper reddish brown color. Mane and tail color can also range from very light to very dark. When affected by the cream dilution we get a seasonal palomino, which can look similar to animals affected by a flaxen modifier. In addition, the champagne dilution creates a gold champagne that is sometimes called pink skinned palomino.
