Argentinian Draft Horse

Intro

The Argentinian Draft or Tiro Argentino is a variety of Percheron that is bred solely in Argentina.

Origins

This strain combines the blood of the a variety of draft types, but mainly Percheron with local Criollo animals (which carry Iberian bloodlines). They don’t appear to have very high numbers, but there is not much information about them. Their foundations are top notch, Percheron genetics have been used worldwide for their size and handsome conformation and Criollo strains are lovingly bred throughout Latin America. This strain is known for being powerfully built, with a spring in their step.
