The woman who runs the Equine Rescue Association is Dr. Vel Moore, a 76 year old woman who not only rescues troubled horses at her establishment, but she rescues troubled teens too.

An artificial breeding technician is responsible for the artificial reproduction, which is often used when breeding horses and livestock. They frequently coordinate their efforts with a breeding manager or a broodmare manager.

What You Need

This is a position which benefits from a good understanding of horse anatomy, experience handling animals and a gentle touch for the mares. The ability to withstand physical labor, a strong physique, solid communication and strong organizational skills are highly beneficial to become an artificial breeding technician.

I thought this video was kind of fun and who doesn’t enjoy a nice English accent voice over? It may only be useful for those who intend to be circus clowns (don’t do it), but it could be a handy party trick.
