The lightest of the bay shades, this one is actually not as common as some of the darker colors. Their coat color ranges from soft light red to almost golden yellow which could be confused with a yellow dun. We’ve categorized golden as the lightest shade of standard bay animals. They are different genetically from the light or wildtype bay which can have similar golden coloring.
