A look at amber champagne horses around the world and on a variety of different breeds.
The champagne dilution on a bay coat looks surprisingly chestnut, but can be mistaken for buckskin or dun. Coat color is lightened to a golden or reddish yellow color, while mane, tail and points go chocolate brown, there are no true black hairs on an amber. Mane and tail hairs may have frosting or lighter hair along the outer edges.
