Transylvanian Horse

Intro

The result of a cross between Bessarabian and Hungarian horses, the Transylvanian Horse is not an official breed, but more of a country bred type.

Origins

Established in the early 19th century and bred for use as a versatile riding horse, this breed is considered extinct now. While it varied due to no centralized breeding programs, they tended to look similar to the Lippizan but not necessarily so uniform in color.
