Intro
Called Warlander in the US, the European version is called the Ispazon Horse and they are the product of Andalusian or Lusitano and Frisian animals.
Origins
Obviously the handsome Frisian has likely been crossed many times over the years, but the first ‘official’ animal of the breed was a mare named Saeta del Tessuor (Tessuor’s Arrow). As could be expected, this Baroque cross makes for a beautiful and flashy type. The Andalusian and Lusitano both cross well, as does the Frisian. The result is a mid-sized saddle horse that is balanced, with flashy movement.
