Last weekend I posted the domestic horses of Giovanni Fattori and today I wanted to share a completely different style of his art, one that features the military.
The Other Side
Giovanni started out painting military & historical subjects and over the years his art seemed to soften and include sweeter, more domestic scenes. Although horses aren’t his central characters, they play a huge part in many of his paintings.
