There are four recognized pinto patterns, overo, sabino, tobiano and splashed white. These four patterns can be combined to create an almost endless variety of spotting patterns. For example, a tovero is a combination of tobiano and overo patters. Here are examples of other combinations, animals pictured weren’t a pure example of the other patterns.
