Broken face markings are often due to a pinto white pattern, even when found on a solid coat it is likely a minimal expression of pinto genetics. They can also be called occluding spots or badger face and in most cases are probably the same thing. What caused the examples below is unclear, so we’ve put them in the ‘interrupted’ category.
