A look at horses with bald face around the world and on a variety of different breeds.
A bald face is when most of the face is white and the marking extends beyond the eyes them. When the marking is smaller and remains between the eyes, it’s called apron face, which is slightly different. Bald face generally indicates one or more of the pintos patterns is at work and often there is at least one blue eye involved (sometimes even white eyelashes!). Any breed or color carrying certain pinto patterns can display a bald face.
