Horses with Apron Face Markings

A look at horses with apron face around the world and on a variety of different breeds.

A face marking similar to the bald face, except an apron face literally looks like it’s wearing an apron of white over the color. White will reach roughly to the eyes (that’s where we delineate between apron and bald anyway) and can extend down along the jaw to the throat latch, generally covering the whole muzzle. This marking is almost always an indication of pinto patterns and is less likely to produce blue eyes as a bald face.
