The handy job description section on The Equinest was the result of a reader request and we can’t thank that reader enough. Not only has it been an education for us, but it has helped to put the horse industry into perspective. In short, horse jobs are everywhere.

Truly for any horse lover, the idea of making a living working with the animal we adore is a dream come true. As it turns out, there is a huge long list of different jobs that allow horse enthusiasts to do just that. I love finding new horse videos to share and the weekly videos on Sunday has been perhaps the longest running series on the site ever. It’s time for a change and I’m switching to a Monday through Friday posting week. Horse people are busy on the weekends anyway. 
Recently I was researching something or other online and ran across The Man From Snowy River by A.B. Paterson. I was embarrassed that the name only rang a bell in the context of a movie, so I had to read it and see if the movie added up. 
First of all I want to thank everyone for their participation, each one of you is a horse hero for your sacrifices. Every response made me proud to be a horse person and it’s been fun to learn more about everyone and their animals.
