Badminton Horse Trials
A tough and exciting 3-day equestrian event requiring both animals and riders to show their stuff in three very different areas, cross country, dressage and show jumping.
Before the competition each horse is inspected by vets and a ground jury prior to each day of competition to ensure the animals is physically sound to continue the competition.
International horse trials are graded with stars according to their level of difficulty. Badminton Horse Trials is a four star which is the highest in terms of difficulty and it is the oldest of the 6 such events in the world.

Hunter Jumper Week of Del Mar National Horse Show
The final week of the three week event, the hunter jumper events always prove to be the most exciting too.
This event has been held as part of the San Diego County Fair for 64 years and has become a local tradition.
Many spectators buy annual box seats and bring the whole family to enjoy the shows.
This group of shows has become one of the most prestigious in the western region
With a total of over $350,000 in prize money and over 3,000 competing horses this is always an event to remember. Read more
19th Annual Hollywood Charity Horse Show
Started by William Shatner in 1990 to raise money for the Ahead With Horses & Camp Max Straus charities.
Every year there is a headlining musical guest and this year Willie Nelson will create the soundtrack.
Guest will feast on a meal prepared by Chef Fabio Vivani of Top Chef New York and Cafe Firenze.

27th Annual Minnesota Horse Expo
This is a not-for-profit event sponsored by the Minnesota Horse Council. The funds generated by the Expo are used by the council to support the Minnesota horse industry through scholarships, grants, direct funding and trail improvements.
Last year the expo hosted almost 50,000 people and in the last 27 years they have raised over $3 million.

This is a one of a kind contest held in Red Bluff every year, the events test real life working situations of the vaquero (cowboy).
