This blog is one of those ‘guilty reads’ she posts some atrocious images, has opinionated views & I love it that she shares them. Beyond just ugly to look at, much of the equipment she posts is of poor quality or downright abusive. Snide name aside, the articles on her blog are surprisingly thoughtful in their critiques (& her scary pink saddles of the week segment is priceless).

There are very few blogs out there about riding aside so in a way Julie’s sets the standard. Her enthusiasm for (and complete immersion in) the discipline makes her posts colorful & they provide a glimpse into a horse industry virtually unknown to many of us. This is one dedicated blogger, Julie also maintains several blogs beyond her sidesaddle adventures.
