Girasol – Horse Blogger of the Week

Global Horse CultureThe horse blogger of this week goes by one name, girasol, you can find more of her stuff over at her blog Global Horse Culture. (Be sure & grab her RSS feed while you are there).

Many of my readers already know this blog, girasol has a great outlook on life and shares so many interesting articles it’s hard to pick a favorite. Her blog provides a thoughtful look at horses & horse culture around the globe, featuring different breeds, interesting horse sports & horse equipment that looks foreign to many of us westerners. All of this with a great sense of humor and an eye for the unique.

Her love of horses combined with that of the unique has allowed girasol to create a blog that teaches us all something new, no matter where we come from. She gives every horse culture their chance in the spotlight.

Great Reading

Some of these links are pages, some are posts she has written on her blog. All of them full of interesting & sometimes foreign elements of our global horse culture.

Enough Weekend Reading For Now

There is a lot here to read and a great selection of girasol’s work, here’s a quick recap of places you can find her stuff online.

Stay tuned because next Friday we’ll be visiting the writing talents of Sarah Conrad over at Horse Bits.

Do you write a horse blog? If so I’d love to check it out & add it to my RSS reader. Leave the url & your information in the comments so I can come check it out!
