Tagaytay Horse

Intro

Not an official breed, the Tagaytay Horse is a strain of Baguio Horse which is bred specifically in Tagaytay, from which it takes its name.

Origins

Descendants of small merchant horses imported from China, Brazil and South Africa, which later received Arabian and Spanish blood infusions. There are no official breeding programs for this type and while they come from the same foundation as the Baguio, they have developed independently with their own characteristics.
