Rice Pony

Intro

Also called Kuda Padi or Paddy Pony, the Rice Pony is named rice for it’s small stature and it is one of two breeds found in Malaysia.

Origins

Native to the States of Kelantan and Trengganu these animals are extremely robust, adapted to life in a tropical environment with poor fodder. This is a tough climate for horses, but Rice Ponies are also said to be parasitic infections commonly found in tropical regions.
