Tuesday is artist appreciation day & today it’s all about the work of Angie Ketelhut, another artist I found via Twitter.

Todays artist isn’t specifically a horse artist (although she does paint them) she is more of an animal artist. Her pet portraits are colorful and fun & her animals full of enough life and energy to bound off the page.

“As a shy child, a family dog or family friend’s dog was always my best friend. Creating art was my favorite activity as it allowed me a way to express myself.”
