It’s interesting to learn words in different languages, and sign language is no exception. I know a bit of ASL and, believe it or not, that has come in handy from time to time.
Learn A New Language
I encourage everyone to learn the basic alphabet in both American Sign Language and British Sign Language (hey you never know when you’ll need it). They are very different from one another.
The first video below was just too cute to pass up. He is 2 and his mom is deaf – let him teach you how to sign some common animals. (If his horse isn’t clear enough for you, try this horse example for clarification). The second shows common animals in BSL – by a more experienced teacher.
